[attr="class","chata"]There wasn't the simple option of moving on to the next objective. Looked like they had to go and hand it in themselves. Though this wasn't something he found to be that much of an irritation, it did strike him as...concerning. This wasn't part of any other quest. It was starting to feel wrong. He could feel the same unease coming off of Banshee. That could have just been paranoia.

When they reached their marked location, it was clear that all was not well. The splatter of blood and the trail it left was loud and clear. Something had attacked the miner and dragged the away. Whatever it was couldn't be a regular crawler. This was something else all together.

Before Vaatu had even gotten a word in, the shield was back on Machina's arm, and his defenses were raised. He narrowed it down - they were going to be facing a boss. Even at a low level, they could be full or surprises. Not that he knew for sure, but it helped to be more cautious than not.

He nodded to Vaatu and lead the way, keeping a close eye on the trail, making sure not to lose it. "On it," he replied. Even if whatever was down here met his shield full on, it couldn't do much to him. At this level, he was as tough as it got. That didn't give him room to be sloopy, however.

A growl and echoed grunt washed through the cave tunnels. "I don't think tracking will be much of an issue, Vaatu."
